Once you have created a ticket type, you will be able to edit them under the Event Management Dashboard.
If there is more than one ticket sold for a specific ticket type, you cannot delete or change the price of a ticket type. This is because your sales reports will always reference back to this ticket type.
To edit a ticket type:
1. Navigate to your Event Management Dashboard.
Click on the "Event" link in the navigation and choose the event you want to edit tickets for.
Expand the Ticket selection and select the ticket type you want to edit.
2. Edit ticket type details.
If a ticket type has sales attached to it, you will not be able to edit the price or delete the ticket type. You will, however, be able to edit the name, increase the number of tickets available for purchase or show/hide the ticket type from your event page.
When editing a ticket type you can:
- Set ticket to active/inactive.
- Do not set ticket types to inactive if you would just like to hide them from the event dashboard. Setting a ticket type to inactive means that you will no longer be able to scan the purchased tickets of this ticket type from the ticket scanning app.
- Edit the display name.
- This is the ticket type name that will display to customers on the event page.
- Increase or decrease the running quantity of available tickets.
- This is the total amount of tickets that will be available to purchase
- Display the ticket type on the website or not.
- If this is unchecked, the ticket type will no longer display on the event page.
- If this is unchecked, the ticket type will no longer display on the event page.
