To sell tickets for your event, you need to create ticket types first. This is done via the Management Page.
To create ticket types follow the steps below. To view different scenarios on the best way to create tickets, read our FAQs here.
1. Navigate to the Event management page.
Click on the "Events" link in the left-hand navigation.
2. Choose the event you want to create tickets for
Click on the "Manage" button, this will direct you to the Event Management Page.
3. Create tickets types
Click on the "Create Ticket" button to add tickets.
3. Select how you would like to create your tickets.
If you choose to create a single ticket type, you will generate one ticket type based on the inputs you supply on the next page.
If you choose to create multi-day ticket types, this will allow you to create multiple instances of the same ticket type but for different days.
Example:
You have an event running each Saturday for 2 months. You would like to create multiple tickets that have the same starting time and price but is on each of the Saturdays within the two months. In this case, you would choose to create a multi-day ticket type.
4.1. Creating a single ticket type.
When creating a single ticket type you are required to enter all the information.
You can choose to display your tickets on the website as soon as you create them by selecting the "Display on website" option.
Should you not wish to display the tickets on the website now, you can leave this option unchecked and edit the ticket type at a later date.
Note: Box office app and Ticket Validity dates are no longer supported
4.2. Creating multi-day ticket types
When creating a multi-day ticket type you are required to enter all the information.
You can choose to display your ticket types on the website as soon as you create them by selecting the "Display on website" option.
Should you not wish to display the ticket types on the website now, you can leave this option unchecked and edit the ticket at a later date.
Once you have filled in the required information, you need to select the dates you would like to generate the tickets for. For each date selected, a ticket type will be generated with the relevant name, code, quantity, and price.
We will automatically add the date to each ticket name. To edit the names, you can edit the tickets once generated
